Doug Angstrom
Doug Angstrom joined Boustead Securities in 2012. Prior to Boustead, Mr. Angstrom was Managing Director for Public Fund Sales at Goldman Sachs Asset Management from 2002 to his retirement in 2008. During his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Mr. Angstrom’s public funds team raised over $23 billion in new assets from 82 new public fund mandates across a broad spectrum of asset class platforms. Mr. Angstrom’s background includes Vice President of Institutional Sales at AllianceBernstein from 1999 through 2001 and Director of Institutional Sales at Invista Capital Management, a subsidiary of the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa, from 1990 to 1999.
Mr. Angstrom received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1975 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He received his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1977 and received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1990. Mr. Angstrom is a past president of the Iowa Society of Financial Analysts and in 2005 was named Money Management Letter’s Public Funds Marketer of the Year.
Holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
